The Cole Camp American Legion Post 305 is active in the community and is open to any current service member and past service member that has served in the armed forces during one of the following periods:
- 4/6/1917 - 11/11/1918 (WWI)
- 12/7/1941 - 12/31/1946 (WWII)
- 6/25/1950 - 1/31/1955 (Korea)
- 2/28/1961 - 5/7/1975 (Vietnam)
- 8/24/1982 - 7/31/1984 (Grenada/Lebanon)
- 12/20/1989 - 1/31/1990 (Panama)
- 8/2/1990 - Cessation of hosilities as determined by U.S. Government (Persian Golf)
Membership dues are $26.00 per year, and also a paid up lifetime membership is available.
Meetings are the first Monday of the month at 7:30 P.M. and guests are always welcome.

The Post 305 Auxiliary also meets on the first monday of the month in the basement of the Legion building at 7:30 P.M. Spouses or immediate family members of a Legion member are eligible to join the Auxiliary.
